साहस/हिम्मत(एक सोल्जर की कहानी)
सुबह के 2.45 का समय था तारीख 18 जून 2014 ,दिन बुधवार आसमान बिलकुल काला ,स्थान आर्मी कैम्प,जम्मू कश्मीर।
सभी जवान अपने बैरक में गहरी नींद में सो रहे थे और रात्रि प्रहरी ड्यूटी पोस्ट पर चौकस खड़ा था अचानक बैरक की लाइट जल जाती है और अफरा तफरी मच जाती है ।
किसी को कुछ पता नहीं था सिर्फ उनसे इतना ही कहा गया था कि 5 मिनट में पूरे एकुपमेंट के साथ बहार मिलें और सभी 4.30सेकेण्ड में बहार थे, सभी एक दूसरे को देख रहे थे पर किसी को कुछ पता नहीं था तभी कंपनी कमान्डर का आगमन होता है कम्पनी कमान्डर पुरे एकुपमेंट के साथ हमारे सामने खड़े थे।
कम्पनी कमान्डर आते ही बोले क्या आप सभी को पता है की हम इतनी रात में यहाँ किस लिए इकठ्ठा हुए है।सभी ने कहा No Sir, तभी कम्पनी कमान्डर उन्हें जानकारी देते है, उन्होंने कहा की हमारे "A" कंपनी को हाई कमान से जानकारी मिली है कि यहाँ से 5 किलोमीटर की दुरी पर पिरागली गांव है गावं में कुछ आतंकबंदियों ने मज़ीद अहमद के घर को कैप्चर कर अपना ठिकाना बना रखा है और हमें सर्च ऑपरेशन कर उन्हें ज़िंदा पकड़ना है कमान्डर ने कहा कोई शक,सबने कहा No Sir और वो चल पड़े ऑपरेशन को अंजाम देने के लिए।
उस सेक्सन में 1अधिकारी ,1सूबेदार और 10 जवान थे सबसे आगे( हवलदार ) रजनीश उसे पीछे( सिपाही) योगेंद्र और फिर (मेजर) कर्मवीर और इनके पीछे 5 जवान और फिर (सूबेदार) मलखान सिंह और इनके पीछे (सिपाही) देवेशबाबु,नागेंद्र,और अन्त में रमेश ।
सभी एक कतार में 10 मीटर का फासला बना के आगे बढ़ रहे थे सुबह के 3.20 का समय हो रहा था चारो तरफ सन्नाटा था केवल झींगुर की आवाज सुनाई दे रही थी और वो तक़रीबन 3 किलोमीटर तक आ चुके थे आगे क्या होने वाला था कुछ खबर नहीं थी बस अपने मकसद को अंजाम के लिए आगे बढ़ रहे थे।
अचानक 4 किलोमीटर पे ही उनके दोनों छोर से तीन तीन के गुच्छे में ब्रस्ट फायर आने लगी उन्हें कुछ समझ नहीं आया,वो सभी ज़मीन पर कोहनियों के ऊपर चलने लगे और पत्थरों का सहारा लेके आड़ ली,फिर गोली का जबाब गोलियों से देते रहे अंधरे के कारण आपसी ताल मेल नहीं हो पा रहा था।
शायद अतंबादियों को सेना के आने की खबर मिल चुकी थी और वो हथियारों से पूरी तरह लैस थे और वो सभी अम्बूस लगा के सेना का इंतज़ार कर रहे थे।
तक़रीबन 20 मिनट तक फायरिंग चलती रही इस फायरिंग में सेना के 9 जवान और सूबेदार मलखान सिंह अपनी जान गवा बैठे थे और मेजर कर्मवीर को सीने में 2 गोलियां लग चुकी थी और अब केवल (हवलदार) रजनीश ही पूरे सेक्सन में बचे थे और मेजर की सांसे थोड़ी चल रही थी।
(हवलदार) रजनीश दुश्मनो से लड़ते हुए 12 आतंकवादी को अकेले ही मार गिराया,अचानक उनकी गोलियां ख़त्म हो गयी। वो कोहनी पे चल के मेजर के पास राइफल लेने के लिए पहुचा ही था कि 2 गोलियाँ उनके पैरों को चीरते हुए निकल गयी खून बहुत तेज़ बह रहा था और दर्द बढ़ रही थी लेकिन हवलदार में साहस की कोई कमी नहीं थी।
गोली लगने के बाद भी वो आतंकवादियों से लड़ते रहे तक़रीबन 2 घंटे अकेले लड़के 20 अतंकवादियों को मर गिराया फायरिंग बंद हो चुकी थी हवलदार के पैरों से काफी खून निकल चुका था फिर भी वो हिम्मत करके मेजर की ओऱ बढ़ा,पास पंहुचा तो तो देखा की मेजर की सांसे बंद हो चुकी थी अब वो अकेला था चारो तरफ सिर्फ लाशें ही लाशें थी फिर भी वो हिम्मत नहीं हारा और आगे बढ़के रेडियो सेट तक पंहुचा और उसने "A" कम्पनी में सुचना दी और वो बेहोश हो गया।
जब उसे होस आया तो वो आर्मी हॉस्पिटल में था उसका एक पैर कट चूका था।
उसके इस साहस और बलिदान के लिए (हवलदार) रजनीश को सेना मैडल से नवाजा गया।
और शाहिदओं को सैनिक सम्मान के साथ उन्हें आखरी सलामी दी गयी।।

इस कहानी से हमने यही सीखा की अगर हममे साहस हो तो बड़ी सी बड़ी चुनैती का सामना हम ज़रूर कर सकतें है।।

When he got hos, he was in the army hospital, he had a leg amputated.
For this courage and sacrifice (Havildar) Rajneesh was awarded the army medal.
